Russian ministry’s preliminary 2014 budget deficit 0.5% of GDP
MOSCOW, Jan 22 (PRIME) -- Russia’s federal budget deficit amounted to 327.963 billion rubles, or 0.5% of the gross domestic product (GDP) in 2014, as follows from a preliminary assessment by the Finance Ministry published late Wednesday.
Revenue stood at 14.496 trillion rubles and spending was 14.824 trillion rubles.
The Federal Tax Service raised 6.21 trillion rubles of revenue for state coffers, the Federal Customs Service’s contribution was 7.1 trillion rubles, while the Federal State Property Management Service contributed 233.2 billion rubles.
The Reserve Fund amounted to 4.945 trillion rubles and the National Wealth Fund to 4.388 trillion rubles on January 1.
